Bioengineering?

What exactly is Bioengineering. I am going to college and i think it is the field i want, but a lot of colleges only have agricultural bioengineering. Is there a difference or not? I want to work with nature, and have a good paying job to support a family. I also like a little bit of chemistry. Any suggestions on a simmilar field of work?
